The K-Approximator is a surgical device that grips tissue on opposing edges (sides) of a wound and approximates the tissue edges for surgeons to close the wound.
The K-Approximator is configured to be used with a meshing device (tissue-mesher) that creates small needle holes to release the restrictive fibrous structures in the tissue, allowing closure of the wound without a skin graft.
The device is made out of stainless steel and is 155 mm. in length.
